Here is the final education for the week email for the 2022-2023 academic year. 

A 2 year old presents to your ED after a first time seizure at home. She was seizing for about 10 minutes before EMS arrived and continued to do so. She was given abortive meds which subsequently stopped her seizure prior to ED arrival. Patient is somnolent and minimally arousable to verbal and tactile stimulation. Vitals are below.  


T 98 HR 115 BP 86/45 RR 14 O2 93% on NRB
